Capital One 360 not updating

My Capital One 360 isn't updating. There should be a transaction every Monday, the 15th I added manually, but the 22nd never showed either.

How do I fix this?

    Hello @Tony Luers,

Are you receiving any error codes or messages? What exactly is occurring? When did this issue begin?

    Let me know!

There are no error codes or anything, it started last week when I was on vacation. This is the weird part. I normally use a desktop computer, I had everything updated before I left 7/12. I had a copy of my file with me just in case because I have a laptop I use on vacation only, but I was having issues with it, extremely slow. On 7/15, I was struggling to get the Quicken program to open on the laptop, and I kept getting a message that said my membership had expired (good until 2/25). I finally was able to get into Quicken by using the back-up file I brought with me on a flash drive.

So, during the week I would run the update, it would show various transactions for accounts and the transaction for Capital One 360. I did not review or accept any of them for fear that when I got home I'd have a problem getting them on the desktop. The plan was to come home and accept or review all the transactions on the desktop. Everything did show up on 7/22 except for the Capital One 360 for 7/15 was no longer showing. There should also now be a transaction for 7/22 as well, but it also is not showing. I manually added the 7/15 transaction.

Another odd thing is I now have to enter my password for every update. I previously only had to do this the first time if I had closed Quicken, I leave it open all the time.

Another question you might be able to answer, why are some transactions just a blue dot that you click on as reviewed, while others are the red flag or check that actually wants you to look at the transactions and accept?

    Any help??

There was a transaction 7/22 that has not showed on the update. How do I fix this? Is this a Quicken issue or Capital One?

    Thank you for your reply,

If you have downloaded transactions set to automatically enter into your account register, then you see the blue dot when there are new transactions to review. If you have automatic entry turned off, then downloaded transactions go to a section below the account register for your review, and you see a red flag icon letting you know there are transactions in that section awaiting your review. For more information about automatic entry, please review this article.

What password are you being prompted for with every update? Is this a vault password? Is it asking for a specific financial institution password? If so, which financial institution?

If you're having issues with missing transactions from Capital One, I recommend that you follow the troubleshooting in this article on missing transactions. It is possible that the missing transactions are being incorrectly matched with older transactions in the account register (especially if the transactions are almost identical aside from the date). If the troubleshooting from that article does not resolve the issue, it is possible you're being impacted by the known issue in this Community Alert.

    I hope this helps!
