Hey all! I'm Mike and I recently restarted my Quicken for Mac subscription recently. For years, I have been using a spreadsheet to track income, expenses, budgets, and work with categories. I decided to let the technology do the heavy lifting and have mostly migrated. I am also learning the iOS app since I suspect it will be easier to import receipts through that than it will be to play around with taking a picture of the receipt with Adobe Scan, exporting it to my computer, then adding it manually.
While I consider myself a good budgeter, I figured that financial software like this could help me fine tune it - so far, I'm pleased with it for my needs. I would say the only thing that would help me would be the ability to group bank accounts by institution.
