Thank you for your reply,
To correct the issue, first, backup your Quicken file. Then, go to Tools>Account List and find that "my house" asset account. Click the Edit button next to that account name to pull up the Account Details screen. Click on the Online Services tab, then click the Deactivate button.
Once the account is deactivated, you should be able to go to Tools>Add Account and follow the prompts to get that Schwab account authorized and linked to the correct account in your Quicken file.
Please let me know how it goes!

Hello @Kkulow,
To help troubleshoot this issue, please provide more information. What exactly is happening when you're trying to use Add Account to correct the name it's connected to? Are you seeing something similar to this sample image?
If not, please provide more information on what exactly you're seeing. If possible, including a screenshot of what you're seeing (with any personal information redacted) would be helpful. If needed, please refer to this Community FAQ for instructions on how to attach a screenshot. Alternatively, you can also drag and drop screenshots to your response if you are not given the option to add attachments.
I look forward to your response!

Kristina. Thanks for the reply. I have a number of Schwab accounts numbered of course and I name them in Quicken Classic windows 10 version with name and number (last 3 numbers from Schwab)
A recent quicken update dropped all web broker accounts. That process to redo in quicken is what happened to one of my accounts. Quicken somehow downloaded my Schwab account and one of them in Schwab showed download file to Quicken as “my house” —— an asset file I maintain in Quicken for home improvements etc for tax basis purposes in the future
No pathway seems available on Schwab end to edit the file destination in my Quicken
I tried adding a new file via accounts but I cannot change the “my house” file destination from Scwab update to my accounts
my House file is in assets and no outside links from the web and no bank transactions either
The Schwab downloads for the “my house” destination are nowhere to be found
I tried to add the problem file (Schwab account problem file)in my accounts but no edit function is available
I have not tried to create a “dummy file” with the name but new accounts wants brokerage ,list of investments , cash balance etc to link
Help please. Thanks
Keith
