Restoring latest update

I manually backed up my Quicken transactions every so often. My Dell laptop had to be restored to factory settings before I could save my Quicken file, so the Quicken version saved in Dropbox isn't the most recent. The Quicken transactions on my iphone are up-to-date, but I've read that I can't restore from my phone. Where do I start to restore Quicken for use on my laptop with hopes of not losing transactions?

    Hello @Charles1909,

The only way to restore loss of data is by restoring a previously saved backup file. If needed, instructions can be found in this support article.

Unfortunately, as you said, data can not be restored from the Quicken Cloud, which transfers data from the desktop program to the Mobile and Web apps. More information about the Quicken Cloud can be found in this support article.

    Thank you!

There is no solution to your current issue, since no recent backup exists. Making a backup "every so often" isn't sufficient, you need to make a backup after you make changes to your Quicken data EVERY TIME, at least one per day if Q is used multiple times. Whether you store the backups in DropBox or an inexpensive thumbdrive, you need to make creating a backup part of your shutdown process. You don't have to keep a lot of them, just a few to be safe.
