@wamurray1923 But, alas, where would you go?

Same problem, started today. It appears to be a breakdown in the communications response between Citi and Quicken servers. Citi thinks it worked fine, but Quicken doesn't receive the result it expected or the data returned to Quicken by Citi is in an invalid format that Quicken doesn't recognize.

Someone will have to patch their code. Or, maybe, they need to reboot something?

It would have been really nice if instead of a generic message from Quicken (along the lines of “you need to re-authorize”) there was a message to indicate “we broke something really badly and have temporarily disabled downloads“.

I imagine Citi is probably being bombarded with failing re-authorization requests.

Same for me - started tonight - same error popup and message. Have tried at least 7 times.

Quicken → please note that each time I try I get an email from Citi saying "You've authorized Quicken to access your Citi account information". It lists the correct Citi account, along with correct date and time.

Environment: Edge, Windows 10. No browser extensions, cross-cookies allowed.

This just happened after the recent upgrade. This is probably a software issue on Quicken's part that they need to fix ASAP. It appears from the comments that users are not happy about this and I am one of them.

As of 9/27/24 Reauthorize Issue - CITI says account reauthorized. Quicken says not

I have used a Citi VISA card for years and followed with daily update in Quicken. Suddenly, Quicken directed me to reauthorize. So I sign into authenticate via my browser. The CIti web site says "Your accounts have been authorized successfully! You will now be redirected back to Quicken. If you are not redirected in a few seconds, you can close this window and return to Quicken. Then I get the message in Quicken "Sign in to Citi Cards bank failed. Try again. Sorry, the sign in failed due to time out or a connection error. Select Sign In to authenticate via your web browser."

Another unhappy customer. Now I have CitiBank AND Amazon Store card (Synchrony Bank) not working. Been using Quicken for decades. Unfortunate that reliability seems to be going down.
