Glad to see I am not alone with this problem! Just noticed it today with my main Citi account but have seen a problem with some other Citi accounts such as Home Depot card recently as well. C'mon Quicken! We are sick and tired of the constant requirement to troubleshoot and make repairs after updates!

Same here, but the same thing also happened at the same time to an investment broker that I use (Cambridge Investment Research). I'm hoping the 2 are related.

    (BTW, I'm using Quicken Mac).

I have a fix for this that is working for me.

Select Add Account in Quicken app.

Enter Citi Cards in the blank line for the account.

Select Advanced Option below the Citi logo.

    Select Continue.

Select Direct Connection for the connection type and Next.

Enter your Citi account login information and Next.
You should then have Quicken offer to link to your Citi account.

    Hope this helps.

Same here, except when Citi returns me to Quicken (for Windows) the Quicken screen is grayed out and locked. I have to kill the program to get back in. Hope they resolve this soon.

Not quite… Although doing this makes the original error message go way and it seems like a successful update occurred (all lights green), in my case it did NOT download / update any of the CITI transactions. Thx anyway…

Same problem that just started this morning. Have used the Quicken initiated bank authorization/access/login multiple times but after the bank process has completed quicken tells me the connection timed out/failed. Have tried multiple times.

From the minimal info you've provided (i.e., none), that sure looks to be the reason.

  • same issue. reauthorization successful at Cit's end. Faild notification when returned to Quicken. even tries creating a new quicken file. same problem. ok at Cit's end failure at Quicken's end so no new file created.

  • Getting the exact same thing:

This appears to have spread to Capital One cards now (getting the same "must re-authorize" message, I'm not falling for it again, I'll wait it out.

The only info I can provide is that I have to reauthorize Citi accounts, and on the Citi web page side the result is "Authorization successful", but on the Quicken dialog side the result is "Authorization failed (i.e., very little info can be provided), but thanks for responding.

All, this issue has nothing to do with the latest R59.6 release. I am on the April release with is eight releases behind and I too am seeing this issue as well starting today with two of my FIs. Most likely the culprit is with one of the Quicken intermediaries. I don't plan on doing anything rather ride it out for the next week or two.
