Kohls Capital One Visa Downloading Transactions

This might be helpful for anyone who has just received a new Kohls Capital One Visa Card. While Quicken currently shows no option for connecting and downloading to Capital One for a Kohls account I noticed that that the existing "Wall-Mart Credit Card" option uses a generic Capital One access "verified.capitalone.com". When I tried setting up a new "Wall-Mart account" Capital One found my new Kohls account, which I was able to select and connect to using my new Kohls username and password.

I am sure Quicken will likely be setting up a new financial institution for the new Kohls Credit Card but until they do this is a way to download transactions. (which I haven't been able to do for 1.5 years)

Are you referring here to the Kohls store credit card (which uses the Kohls Credit Card in Add Account)? If so, Kohls has recently restored download connection functionality with Kohls Credit Card and the Kohls store credit card can now be set up for download using it.

I realize that Kohls finally corrected the downloading issue with their prior Kohls Credit Card in add account. They cancelled that card (for me anyway) and sent a replacement Kohls Visa Card (from Capital One Bank), They indicated they were migrating to this new card for all their customers but that might take a while. Quicken Add account doesn't have any option (yet) for downloading transactions for this new Kohls CapitalOne Visa Card, which is what my post was refering too. Sorry for any confusion.

Thanks for the clarification. My wife's Kohl's store card has not been closed by Kohl's and they haven't informed us of their migrating from the store card to the CapitalOne Visa Card…at least, not yet. I'll make sure to keep and eye out for credit card communications from Kohl's. Thanks for the heads up.
