CIBC New Accounts not loading

Is anyone else having issues adding new accounts from CIBC to Quicken…..this is the error message:

CIBC Doesn't Support Quicken Connections

However, you can download a QFX file (also called a Web Connect file) from their web site. Import it into Quicken by double-clicking the file you downloaded, or select the File > Open menu item in Quicken and choose the file.

For more information, click the Learn More button below to open a web page in your browser. Scroll down to “Importing files from your bank”.

Have never seen this before…….help!

That's how I've been doing it. I have to log into my CIBC, download transactions to hte QFX file format, then import it into Quicken. However, since September 27, my transactions don't import anymore.

Same Kalhel…..I have a new CIBC account that I'm trying to add and it won't let me. Very strange. I spent 1.5 hr (+long distance charges) to speak to someone at Quicken who was of no assistance. Left me on hold most of the time, and then told me it's a CIBC problem. It's not, everything is fine with CIBC. I also noted it is the same error message for Canadian Tire as well. Hoping this get's resolved soon!

    Hello @JDep,

If you don’t mind, could you please provide a screenshot of the error message you described receiving? If needed, please refer to this Community FAQ for instructions on how to attach a screenshot. Alternatively, you can also drag and drop screenshots to your response if you are not given the option to add attachments. Please remember to redact any personal information as needed.

    Thanks!
