Resolution of Costco Anywhere Visa by Citi Connection Issues

This has been a problem for some time. If you hit + you will see a connection menu that includes an entry for Citi Cards, if you ignore Citi Cards and then type "Citi" in the text entry field, you will see an option for Costco Anywhere Visa Card by Citi. If you select this option, the authorization which follows fails every time.

Solution: simply select Citi Cards from the card/bank selection menu and then everything works fine! I stumbled upon this solution after being totally frustrated for what seems like weeks.

    What issues were you encountering when using the Costco Anywhere Visa Card by Citi connection option? Were you seeing any error messages/codes? When did you first notice the issue?

    My earlier message is incorrect!! The problem has returned! Several hours after my initial message, I returned to Quicken and noticed that that was Costco Citi Visa was not connected to one step update. So, I did another + to add the Visa as a new account to be linked to my current account later. The connection failed with

    It certainly worked earlier in the day as a bunch of transactions downloaded. Sorry to mislead people. Quicken, please please get this fixed!

    The correct financial institution (FI) is Costco Anywhere Visa Card by Citi. But, you may not get to the FI's server to authorize due to your browser and that's why it's failing. I think your computer and the server are making a handshake, but the web site doesn't resolve the following page on your browser of choice. I use Edge, but occasionally i have to use Chrome or Firefox with certain web sites to circumvent problems like this. With the new Costco card, I had to use Firefox to connect and resolve the server site.

    When I go to add a new account to Quicken I'm only running Quicken, not a browser. My default browser is Edge, and when I use Edge to log-on to my Citi account on-line, the connection is fast and every time.
