No notification when online backup starts/finishes

Online backup does not crash, but there is no indication of when it ends and when it is safe to close Quicken. The first time I tried it, I did a cloud sync then exit, and got a warning that I could not close because the online backup was in progress. I chose not to close, and later got a Windows notification that it was finished. Since then I have not gotten any notification that it started or that it finished. I am afraid to close it for the day.

To assist with this, I checked on our end and can see your online backups have been successfully completing 30 October through 1 November.
The notifications when online backup starts and finishes are Windows notifications. If you're not seeing them, you may want to check your Windows notification center to verify if you're allowing Quicken to send you notifications. In Windows 10 & 11, you can access notification settings by going to Start > Settings > System > Notifications.
Was the error message on closing Quicken a one time occurrence, or does it happen every time you sync to the cloud and close Quicken? If this issue is still happening, would you please post a screenshot of the exact error message you're seeing? If needed, please refer to this Community FAQ for instructions on how to attach a screenshot. Alternatively, you can also drag and drop screenshots to your response if you are not given the option to add attachments.
