Where is Quicken on the Web? It's not in the App Store.

I've looked for it in the App Store. It's simply not there. It shows me alternatives to Quicken.

Thanks.

Set up in Quicken desktop first

Then go to Quicken Classic - Welcome and log into your account

QWeb isn't a standalone app. It's a companion to the desktop product., Same for QMobile. In both cases, you need the desktop product established first.

I understand that it's not a standalone app. I have Quicken Classic. Here's what I see under Settings regarding anything about a web interface.

When I go to the App Store, like it indicates, all I see is a competing product—Debit & Credit.

It is a "Web App", therefore you are looking for the URL, not an App in the Apple App store:

Thanks. Yeah. I see that. But, I don't see "Preferences" anywhere, as asked for in this screenshot.

First off, just in case you missed it. The URL I gave you is at the bottom of that window of that screenshot that you posted.

Next a quick overview of how this all works.

You create a data file on the Mac (or Windows for a Windows user).

You set it up however you like, and then you "Sync to the Quicken Cloud".

The Quicken Cloud is the "data" for both the Quicken Mobile App and the Quicken Web App. They are pretty much the "GUI" of the Quicken Cloud data.

Note that the Quicken Cloud data is a partial copy of your Quicken Mac/Windows data file. It isn't going to have 100% of your data or features, and it isn't a backup for your Quicken Desktop data file.

As you make changes in the Mobile/Web App you are usually directly updating the Quicken Cloud data (unless you are offline) and then when you get back to your Quicken Desktop (Mac) you do another sync. Note that One Step Update does this sync as well as downloading new transactions. And the Quicken Cloud data server does download transactions from time to time.

So, as far as preferences go, there are of course a ton of them in the Mac/main program and some of them might directly affect the data and as such what you see in the Mobile/Web Apps. But the Mobile/Web Apps also have their own preferences for somethings.

Thanks. But, the only URL I see there is "Download Quicken Classic for Mac." Or, "Go to My Account." I don't see anything at the "bottom."

I've yet to connect to my bank. Because, the account number it comes up with after connecting is totally wrong. My account number is 13 numbers long, not the 9 you see here. This morning, when I first connected, I saw numerous extraneous transactions that had nothing to do with me.

Does my problem have to do with the fact that I have no real connection to my bank yet?

I'm sorry I didn't realize that you had posted multiple different screenshots. This is the one I was referring to:

Since you are on a Mac I'm going to flag a Quicken Mac SuperUser that should be able to help you better than I can (I'm using Quicken Windows and the interfaces are bit different). But in general, you should be able to sync your accounts to the Quicken Cloud data and view then in the Mobile/Web Apps even if they aren't setup for downloading transactions.

@jacobs or @Jon can you please help @pb4072 with this?

@pb4072 I think @Chris_QPW has described it correctly. And although I'm a Quicken Mac user and I'm happy to help, I don't use the web interface or mobile app. But just to review…

You must first create a data file in Quicken Classic. You can have accounts connected to your bank, or you can just have a manual account — you just need to have a data file with at least one account which can sync to Quicken mobile. And you must enable Mobile Sync, as shown in the screenshot of the Settings > Mobile Web & Alerts screen from Chris above. Then either quit Quicken Classic to do a sync, or do Accounts > Sync to Mobile.

After the above you should be able to use the mobile app or the web interface (which they call the "web app", although it's just a web screen). The web interface is accessed at app.quicken.com. For the app to use on an iPhone or iPad, you download the app from the App Store. I'm no sure why you're not seeing it; I see it right away when I open the App Store on my phone and search for "Quicken". (For me just now, it comes up second, under Quicken Simplifi):

Were you possibly checking for the companion app while you were on your computer? The Mac App Store and the iPhone App Store are different beasts; you need to be on your iPhone or iPad and use its app store.
