Incomplete Payee Names in Downloads

Since R59.35 (27.1.59.35) transactions downloaded from Barclayscard are being truncated to only 1 word on multi word payees. It is not consistant, in some cases it's the 1st word, in other cases it's not. The Downloaded Payee is blank and it is not a renaming rule (rule doesn't exist and all fields are blank as if it's a brand new payee). The names look fine when I look on-line and when downloaded in Excel format.

Note: This is direct download, not web download.

    Hello @Jon_sacks,

The assist with this, please provide more information. Is this issue still happening?

This was a known issue, but it was corrected yesterday afternoon. While anything that already downloaded incorrectly will not automatically be fixed, any further downloads should be coming in correctly.

You should be able to correct the payees that did come in incorrectly by right clicking on the transaction, then selecting Revert to.

I look forward to your response!

Thank you for the reply. Using the Revert option did correct the data, I will monitor as I did not have a new transaction to download yet.

A previous thread of mine was closed without a resolution (https://community.quicken.com/discussion/7956683/accounts-receivable-out-of-balance-search-for-problem-records/p1?new=1), how do I get this addressed or reopen the thread?

    Hello @Jon_sacks,

All posts and threads are closed after 30 days with no activity. However, I did go ahead and reopen the thread for you. You should now be able to comment in there again.

    Thank you!

This condition is still happening, I downloaded transactions from American Express. Again, I was able to revert, but there must be an offending character when parsing the field. Let me know what more information is needed.

    Thank you for your reply,

If you haven't already done so, please check to make sure Quicken didn't learn an incorrect renaming rule while the issue was happening. You can check this by going to Tools>Renaming Rules.

If you do see an incorrect renaming rule, you can click on it to select it, then edit it by clicking the pencil icon, or delete it by clicking the minus sign icon (red circle with a while minus sign).

Please let me know how it goes!

Looks like this may have been the issue, I have truncated renaming rules, deleting them. Many of them show with a renaming rule to rename to exactly the same downloaded payee name!

    Thank you for your reply,

If the issue persists now that those truncated rules have been deleted, please let me know!

    Thank you!
