Wait for Quicken to fix it? Don't know what other option there is.
One would naturally expect that an issue such as this would get pretty high attention because it is going to drive several support calls… not to mention that this issue is the first thing a new Canadian customer would encounter. What a way to be welcomed into the world of Quicken.

I was thinking the same thing as installing the US Version and then using a patch to roll it back to a Canadian version just seems like a bad idea to me.
I was amazed that this was exposed as a good idea by Quicken Tier 1 and Tier 2 support!

@Quicken Anja can you please make this a priority get fixed and let us when the corrected / fixed Canadian download is available and what version it should be?

We can further infer from this (mess) that there is actually no USA version or CAD version of the app. There are only releases that are tested against a certain country's feature set. I'm going to presume that the only issue with using the R60.15 version with a Canadian data file is that this version hasn't been tested in the Canadian mode. It may actually be true that there is no reason not to use R60.15 in the Canadian mode - even though it hasn't been tested and officially released for such.

@Arctic Hare Agreed though my concern remains that I am fearful of wasting time building out a new computer with an "official release" that results in a corrupt data file or otehr problems. I do hope / wish that Quicken i) explains the confusion / what is going on and ii) explains / provides a fix very quickly.
The point you make about this being a poor customer especially for new Quicken users is spot on!

As it has been one week since it was discovered that Quicken posted the wrong download file fro Canadian users kindly provide an update as to when this will be corrected.
I am having trouble accepting or believing that it takes over one week to post the correct download file.

I received the update to R60.18 this morning, so I expect that version should be loaded for whole-package download.

- At the risk of asking something naive, how did you receive notification of the update as I would love to sign up for this.?
- I will try the download / install process over the weekend — likely tomorrow — as I am slammed today. It appears that R60.18 is the official release as "checking fro updates" with R59.9 provides th option to update to R60.18, fingers crossed!

I don't receive push notices for updates. When I run OSU, it tells me an update is available, if that is the case.
Note that, since I stopped using Express Web Connect (because of all the problems with EWC), I run OSU only to get security price updates and to be notified about application updates.

@Arctic Hare I believe this is resolved. The downloaded version is still 60.15 — which is weird— but it did upgrade to 60.18 which is where I am supposed to be.
