Is there any way to add "Memo" to the app?

This makes no sense to me. Notes is the only way to add more information to a transaction in the app, but Notes cannot be added to reports, only Memo can….but Memo is not available in the app. So I've been cutting and pasting Notes from the app into the Memo column. That is a waste of time. Am I missing something? Is there a workaround? I don't understand why Notes is even a thing if it can't be seen in reports.
