Exporting transactions in a particular account
How can I export transactions, to Excel, in a particular account between selected dates? I'd like to bring this data into Excel so I can calculate gains/losses in those transactions.

Hello @Satish,
To export transactions from an Account Register to an Excel file, please follow the instructions provided below.
- Open the Account you wish the export
- Click on the Gear icon on the top-right
- Select Export Excel Workbook (.xlsx)
Hope this helps!

I have version R60.15 for Windows. "Export to Excel" is not available. Any ideas?0 -
@Satish Thank you for following up.
Based on the menu options displayed in your screenshots, is this an Investment account you are trying to export? If so, unfortunately, this option is not available in the Investment account registers. However, you can Export to Excel from the Portfolio in the Investment tab.
Although, this will require some more customization with the filters and by clicking the Customize button next to the filter settings. There you will find an Account tab where you can select which specific account(s) to view before you export.

Depending on the information you are looking to export, look at Reports→banking→Transaction. It can be restricted to an account and date range, it just depends if it has enough information.

You can also call up an Investments Transactions Report and export that Excel, or copy it to the Clipboard and paste it into a spreadsheet. That report likely has more detail than the Banking Transaction report.
What is going on that the capital gains computed by Quicken are inaccurate or insufficient? The Capital Gains report can also be exported or copied to a spreadsheet.

You can customize reports to include or exclude specific accounts (or securities).
