Problem with links inside text boxes

I am having issues creating "sustainable" links within the text boxes. This occurs throughout the application. I can create them within the text editor, but they disappear after closing the window.

I have also tried adding links to the "Notes & Descriptions" text boxes along the right side. They seem to work slightly better - in that the link appears visible - but you cannot see the link when re-editing and it too seems to disappear after another edit.

Linking to other documents - or to a folder in another digital storage application like Google Drive or Dropbox - is an important capability rather than uploading a file which may become quickly outdated.

Here are the screen shots using a sample document with type CUSTOM

I select the text and create the link

I save the link and I see it highlighted as a link

I exit file and return to file - link is gone

Here is the equivalent process when adding a link to the Notes and Descriptions field.

I add a link as before

After saving, I do see this link on the right.

But in the editor, the link is invisible even though it displays after saving.

Thank you for providing that information as well as screenshots.

I was able to replicate this issue, so I went ahead and submitted a bug report for it so our teams can further investigate this issue and work toward a solution for it. However, unfortunately, we do not have an ETA on when a solution will become available.

If any further information is needed for this, I will reach back out in this post.

Thank you. After further working with LifeHub, it seems that ALL formatting (not just links) is not preserved after saving. Using bulleted lists and bold or italics fonts also disappear after creation.

This is what I created in the editor:

Yet when I exit and re-edit, all the formatting is gone:

Thank you - yes, it seems like a general issue with all formatting. I have spent many hours with LifeHub over the past few days and it's really powerful. This is such an important service to provide and I hope development continues.

I just want to second our appreciation for the time you've taken to document these issues. We had tried to make use of the text editor more reliable but have clearly introduced new issues. We are working on fixes for these things and I'll let you know when they're fixed.

Thank you! I have spent many hours in the application and I really impressed by what you are building. I am an IT guy and even was building my own app for this capability until I saw LifeHub. (I had also looked at many other options, but LifeHub has the best architecture by far…)

I have some more ideas and suggestions, and will document this for future posts.
