Quicken Fee Increase
My Quicken renewal went up from 65.72 to 76.91…a 17% increase, but I received no notification of upcoming renewal (which I expected) or the price increase.
Anyone else seeing this?

I don't think I've ever received notice of subscription price increases. If you plan to renew your subscription within the next 12 months you might want to consider buying it from retail instead of from Quicken.com. Retail often offers discounted prices for existing subscribers that can be very attractive. For instance, NewEgg.com has a great offering at this time with very good prices but if you enter the Promo Code listed there just below the product title you get an additional discount that makes the price really attractive. This kind of discount doesn't come up very often and it only lasts for a short while so if you want to take advantage of it you might want to act soon. Here is the link to it if you want to review it:
.I'm assuming you use Deluxe (based upon the price you listed). This NewEgg.com deal for Deluxe is $41.93 - $4.94 promo code = $36.99 (+tax). That's 49% off the current Quicken.com list price.
I should point out that the activation codes are good for 1 yr after the date of purchase. You can enter the activation code to extend your current subscription by 1 yr anytime within the last 6 months of your current subscription. So if you order the activation code now you can sit on it until your current subscription is in its last 6 months and then enter it at that time to add 12 months to the subscription end date.
One word of caution: Make sure when buying a Quicken subscription that it is not for new subscribers. Those cannot be used by existing subscribers. The NewEgg offer I posted above can be used by anyone, not just by new subscribers.

What if I want a refund?
The Subscription Release of Quicken has a 30-day money back satisfaction guarantee. You can receive a full refund of the purchase price, not including shipping and handling fees, for any reason within 30 days. You are also entitled to a refund within 30 days of auto-renewal of your Quicken membership. For more information, click here.BTW, that Support Article does confirm that Activation Codes expires 1 year after the date of purchase so if you or anyone want to buy it in advance make sure you will use that Code within 12 months after purchase.
EDIT: I just noticed that the "click here" link is no good. It is supposed to take you to this page…
. If you fill out the form it will take them 3-4 days to process it. In 3-4 days that NewEgg sale might be ended (it's already been several days since it was first offered). So you might be best off Calling or Chatting with Quicken Support ( ) to see if they will refund it real time.Or you can place the order with NewEgg and submit the refund form assuming that they will process the refund per their policy. Even if something goes wrong with the processing of the refund, that activation code will be good for 12 months from the date of purchase so in 6+ months you can use it to extend your subscription by another 12 months. Worst case you won't have to worry about renewing your subscription, again, next year at this time.

There was a price increase in late January last year, so you might have renewed last year just before that one took effect and are seeing it now for the first time. I don't recall hearing of another increase since then.
I agree you should have gotten a renewal notice, but even if you had gotten one I don't know that it would have told you the cost; that's something people have complained about in the past. AFAIK it's up to you to go to the website & find out what the current price is.

Thanks for the tip. Yeah…SIGNIFICANT savings on NewEgg. But how would one go about taking advantage of that if Quicken has already charged me for 2025? Would Quicken refund that…allowing me to then get the NewEgg deal?

Just to clarify something from the original post: the list prices of Quicken products don't appear to have increased in 2025 (yet). There was a pretty steep price increase last January, and when I check the current list prices on Quicken.com (ignoring any discounts), I'm seeing the same prices.
I compiled this list of price increases from 2023 to 2024 last year:
Starter goes from $3.49/month to $3.99/month (a 14% increase)
Deluxe goes from $4.99/month to $5.99/month (a 20% increase)
Premier goes from $6.99/month to $7.99/month (a 14% increase)
Business & Personal goes from $9.99/month to $10.99/month (a 10% increase)These are still the current list prices as of today, January 3, 2025. I haven't seen any notice about any price increase this year, but that could happen at any time. Since the start of subscription pricing in 2017, Quicken has skipped price increases in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2023. There were price increases in 2021, 2022 and 2024.
