Tax line items

Having trouble assigning tax line items (schedule E insurance & taxes) to a memorized split transaction that shows mortgage information on lines 1 & 2 of the split screen.

I have to enter manually enter every month the tax line items in a split mortgage (insurance and taxes). If I edit memorized transactions the line items do not show up the next month.

Typical setup is to associate the tax line item with the category. Then the tax line item will be used whenever the category is used, whether the category is on a transaction or in a split.

Is the tax line item associated with the category?
