It used to show the account balance in the columns of the account balance graph and now it doesn't.

Does anyone know how to get the balance in the graph?

Thanks

    Hello @Morris1 ,

Could you please provide a few screenshots of what you are seeing in the graph? If needed, please refer to this Community FAQ for instructions on how to attach a screenshot. Alternatively, you can also drag and drop screenshots to your response if you are not given the option to add attachments. Please remember to redact any personal information as needed.

    Thanks!

In the past I could point on a column and it would show the balance and now it will not

    Hello @Morris1 ,

Would you mind providing the exact steps that you take to produce this graph? This is so that I may attempt to replicate the issue within my own Quicken file.

    Thanks!

@Morris1 So if you go to the Calendar and select the option to "Show Snapshots Below Calendar" and then select the Account Balance Graph, hovering your cursor over any bar does NOT show the total?

Try this. First grab the calendar and move it around a bit or click once anywhere in the calendar. This makes sure that the calendar has focus (Windows term). If you click anywhere outside the calendar, it looses focus. You should see a subtle shadow around the box and the Window controls (the minimize, maximize and close) should be prominent. If you lost focus, the Window controls appear greyed out (hovering over a bar will not show totals). Now try the hover.

    Calendar lost focus

Others, including myself have report other erratic behavior with totals on graphs that turned out to be a Windows graphics issue (mostly with dual monitors and docking stations). Here's the thread with some "fixes". The Graphics Performance Preference setting fixed mine.

FYI, I do see the totals appear on the Account Balance Graph (as long as the calendar has focus). I never used it before so I can't say this happened to me before the setting change.
