Editing OneStep Update Accounts
I am a long time user of Quicken and have several active financial accounts and many inactive accounts.
Minor problem, but when I select OneStep Update, I am presented with a number of inactive accounts, as well as, active accounts.
I have checked the active accounts I wish to update, but would like to delete the listing of inactive accounts.
Any ideas …

Hello @Badger51,
I'm sorry to hear you're running into this problem. The most likely cause of the issue you describe is if those inactive accounts are still connected in your Quicken file. To correct this, first backup your Quicken file. Then, go to Tools>Account List and check to see if any of those inactive accounts think they're connected in Quicken. If they think they're connected, you will see "Yes" and the connection method in the Transaction Download column.
If you do have inactive accounts that are still trying to connect in Quicken, please deactivate those accounts. You may also want to consider marking those accounts as closed in your Quicken. Warning - Once an account is marked as closed in Quicken, the only way to reverse this is to restore a backup from before you marked the account closed.
I hope this helps!

While you consider the accounts as "inactive", they are still activated for One Step Update in Quicken. Go to the Account List (Tools menu) and EDIT one of the "inactive" accounts. On the Online Services tab, deactivate One Step Update and the account should be removed from the OSU screen list.
