Hawaiian Airlines credit card - Barclay how to add?

Quicken Windows Subscription Member ✭✭✭✭

Weird that when I searched this forum for Hawaiian airlines it had zero hits.

Anyway, this is the card issued by Barclays.

If I click Add Accounts and do Barclays Bank Delaware, it sees my existing cards, but NOT my Hawaiian airlines card. Online at Barclays website, the card is there.

Any ideas?

    Hello @mjonis,

Thanks for sharing your experience with us.

In looking through our financial institution list, I found there is another instance named Hawaiian Airlines Businesscard that also shows the Barclay's URL link. Have you tried connecting using this instance instead to see if it works?

Check back and let us know! Thank you.

How odd. Even though I do not have the BUSINESS card, it shows up under the Business option.

Oh well, it works, not sure why.

I have not been able to download my Hawaiian Airlines credit card transactions since October when Bank of Hawaii made all their changes. I finally got my BOH transactions downloaded into Quicken on 12/31/24. But the credit card part is still not working. I've tried all the Barclays options and always get the message that it can't find it and will set it up manually. NO! Its tax time - I need this to work. Please advise. Thank you!

@Quicken Anja could you please advise on this issue? I need this to work! Thank you!

Do you have a Barclays online account for this credit card. If not, then you might want to try setting up that online account with Barclays. Once that is done, then try setting up downloading via that Hawaiian Airlines Businesscard link referenced above using your Barclays online account login information.

I'm having a related issue and might have a solution for DebinHI but not me: I had successfully connected my Barclay Hawaiian Air Credit Card (personal) through Barclay Bank Delaware. Now I get error messages saying Barclaycards (apparently a separate processing site) could not connect to the Hawaiian Air Card. I linked that up and now I have two separate downloads happening for the same account. How do I figure out which is the correct one and how do I delete the other such I don't keep getting error messages?

@Cambridge50 - You are now getting successful downloads into two accounts in Quicken (for the same Hawaiian Air CC) and are also getting error messages? Please provide more details because I don't understand.

Also, did you try to set up downloading with Hawaiian Airline Businesscard? That is what one person above said they did for their personal card and it worked for them?

Thanks. It's a personal card. The error messages went away. I was connecting, though, to the same Hawaiian Account through two separate Barclay sources… with two separate accounts listed in Quicken. The working solution was to disconnect the account that was giving the error message, move transactions into the "good" account, and delete the "bad" account. So it's solved for now.

I tried to add the Hawaiian Card and my other 2 Barclays cards disconnected and now I can't get any of them to reconnect . Barclays claims no issues on their side
