Onestep Update showing old account in list. Has been Deactivated for years. I know I can uncheck the box to not update this account but need it removed do to some automation I have in downloading. Everywhere I read says just deactivate the account(s). On Edit the option I have is to setup the account and no choice to deactivate. I restored a backup for days ago and still same problem. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hello @vpaul.
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Let's work together to try and resolve this.
First, we will need some additional information to better assist further.
When did you first notice this issue started? What is the account type (i.e.: checking, savings, credit card, brokerage, etc.)? Which financial institution was this account associated with before it was deactivated?
Additionally, could you let us know where your data file is stored? Is it saved on your local hard drive (C: Drive), or in a cloud-based service (e.g., OneDrive, Dropbox, USB, etc.)?
Lastly, if possible, please provide a screenshot of what you’re seeing. If needed, please refer to this Community FAQ for instructions on how to attach a screenshot. Alternatively, you can drag and drop screenshots to your response if you are not given the option to add attachments.
Thank you!

Has the account been closed at E*Trade? Or is it still open and could be used to deposit or withdraw money?
If the account is closed at E*Trade, shouldn't it be also marked closed in Quicken?
