Multiple Categories

Some transactions fit into more than one category. It would be great if we could assign at least two categories to them.

    @StephenKoeppen I''m a bit mystified. Can you please provide an example of a transaction that could belong in multiple categories?

    OR, are you talking about what could be a SPLIT transaction, such as when I buy a few grocery items along with a prescription med pickup … and pay for both at the same time at the pharmacy? So a split would go partially to Pharmacy and part to Grocery.

    Also, if not a split, how should one post the same dollar amount from 1 transaction to 2 categories and not double that expense?

    Hopefully OP will come back & explain what they have in mind. But if they aren't talking about split transactions, I suspect what they want can already be done using tags instead of categories.
