regarding reconciliation [Edited]

When reconciling my Nov bank statement with my Quicken, I entered the dividend on the register with the checks instead of the screen showing the previous, current balances, and the interest gained. When I went to reconcile, the dividend was there along with the deposits and the checks. The balance came to zero and I printed the reconcile. I did my Dec dividend the exact same way. But, when reconciling, the dividend did not appear on the deposit list. Therefore I could not bring the balance to zero. I deleted everything and re-entered, but the dividend was excluded from the deposit side again and again. How do I make Quicken show the dividend on the deposit side of the reconciliation so that the numbers balance? Thank you.
I use Windows 10. I have never had this problem before. This occurred just after an update when I opened Quicken.

Hello @zion.,
Thank you for sharing your experience. To troubleshoot this issue, the first thing I'd recommend is double checking that the date of the transaction falls within the range of the reconcile. If you're using the paper statement option for the reconcile and the transaction date is after the statement end date, it will be excluded.
If the date is not the issue, then posting screenshots may help (please make sure to redact any personal information). If needed, please refer to this Community FAQ for instructions on how to attach a screenshot. Alternatively, you can also drag and drop screenshots to your response if you are not given the option to add attachments.
I look forward to your reply!
