Quicken Classic Deluxe R61.20 Build 27.1.61.20 Windows 10

I am attempting to submit a problem report within my Quicken for Windows and I get a pop-up stating "Unable to send report to Quicken, please try again."

I have attempted this multiple times and get the same issue. The steps to reproduce are as follows:

  1. Click the Share Your Feedback icon on the top bar
  2. Choose "Something is broken"
  3. Select the Others category
  4. Type Test for the Subject
  5. Type Test for the Body
  6. Uncheck Include screenshot
  7. Uncheck CONNOLD.txt
  8. Uncheck OFXOLD.txt
  9. Click the Attach additional files… button, and choose a JPG file
  10. Click the Send to Quicken button

    Hello @SilverEagle,

Thank you for reaching out with this issue!

First, I am curious as to if you have a VPN, AntiVirus software, FireWall, etc installed on the device that you are attempting to Report a Problem from? If so, would you mind disabling it momentarily and then attempt to send the problem report again?

    Let me know, thanks!

    Hi Jasmine,

No, I have none of the above. I use Windows 10 with the default Defender protection application.

    Thank you for your reply,

When you are attempting to send the Problem Report, are there more than 10 attachments? If so, please try unselecting files to get the number of attachments down to 10 and test to see if the issue persists.

Do you get any pop-ups from Windows Defender when you try to send a problem report? If you have an alternate network connection, such as a mobile hotspot, have you tried sending the problem report while connected to that alternate connection (that can test for any settings specific to that internet connection that may be blocking Quicken from sending the report).

I look forward to your response!

Could it have something to do with Google Drive being loaded in memory? I was testing different scenarios, a) disable Windows Defender, b) exit Mega sync, and c) exit Google Drive. After completing step c, I was able to successfully send a test problem report.

I will reboot now, test problem report. If the report fails, I will exit Google Drive and attempt it again and report back here my findings.
