Capital Call not working

Using Quicken R61.21 Build 27.1.61.21 on Win 11 PC. I have a partnership with 2 shares each worth $X. Had a capital call to add money to the partnership. Used the "Capital Call" drop down and it doesn't work. Filled in the amount of the capital call. After, it should show same number of shares but with increased cost per share (half the capital call amount)…but it doesn't work. Initially, instead, it just adds a Shares Bought action to the account, changing the share count to totally unrelated number and the share cost to the amount of the capital call. Then, I can no longer see the transaction on my account list. It is reflected on the ledger that appears when I click on the partnership, but not in the transaction list. I had to go back to yesterday's save and restore to unscrew this up. What is the deal?

After entering a dollar amount for Capital Call, and clicking the box to adjust market value to reflect the new investment amount, Quicken changed my per share value to $1 (from a dramatically different amount) and the Transaction created is not a Capital Call. Instead it entered a BoughtX Action (Edit Buy/Shares Bought), purchasing the the Capital Call amount of money X $1 per share. Capital Call should not change number of shares. The shares should just show as increased cost.
You need to try doing that on your Quicken and see what kind of Action is created by a Capital Call.

Try creating a partnership investment of 2 shares at $50 cost each for total of $100 on your Quicken program. Then try doing a Capital Call Transaction adding $100 and click the box to adjust the partnership market value. IT SHOULD NOT CHANGE THE NUMBER OF SHARES. You should still end up with 2 shares, now at a cost of $100 each (instead of the $50), now $200 total. Sometimes Capital Call creates a Added Shares Transaction, but it still doesn't reflect the correct number of shares or value of the investment, usually showing a near total loss of value. This Capital Call function is not working.
