I only have one Quicken account and I am getting the same thing. I also reset my password, but still can't login to Quicken Web.

I can't even log in to access my Quicken Account for management of the subscription.

Actually, discovered that it only happened if I have a VPN turned on (common practice for me while having my personal computer at work). If I disabled that, I can login.

Correction, that worked once. Now, it is prompting me to login within the Quicken for Mac application and it is not accepting my password there.

Thank you for updating us and providing additional details.

VPNs, antivirus software, and malware protection programs can sometimes interfere with Quicken's functionality. I’m glad to hear that disabling the VPN resolved the issue!

If you have any more questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out.

Except, it didn't. Please read my additional post.

I apologize for the miscommunication; there must have been a lapse in the thread updating from your last update to my response.

Could you please answer the questions in my original response?

Also, if you don’t mind, could you please provide a screenshot of the error message you described receiving? If needed, please refer to this Community FAQ for instructions on how to attach a screenshot. Alternatively, you can also drag and drop screenshots to your response if you are not given the option to add attachments. Please remember to redact any personal information as needed.

    Let me know!

Which question, because I only have one account?

To clarify, are you trying to log in to Quicken’s Windows desktop app or Quicken on the web? - Web, as mentioned (and now the Mac application)

Additionally, when you reset your password, are you using the same QuickenID for both work and personal accounts, or is it possible there are multiple authentication sources tied to your QuickenID? - In only have 1, as mentioned.

If you're using Quicken on the web, have you tried logging in directly from the desktop app to see if the issue persists there as well? - I can't login to the desktop app either now.

    Hello @Patrick Hasenjager,

Thank you for your patience and for the additional clarification.

I apologize for the confusion earlier—I was originally referring to questions related to Quicken for Windows and multiple accounts, as shown in the initial post. I’ve since moved your comments to a separate thread and updated your profile to reflect that you're using Quicken for Mac.

Now, to address your issue: since you mentioned having one QuickenID and experiencing login difficulties with both the Quicken for Mac app and Quicken on the web, it seems the problem may be specific to how Quicken is authenticating your account. Given that you've reset your password, is it possible the changes are not syncing across all platforms? You might want to check if there are any saved credentials or cached login data in the Quicken for Mac app that could be causing conflicts. Also, if you're seeing any error messages on the web or in the app, it would be helpful if you could share a screenshot of those for further investigation.

    Let me know!

I am manually entering my password each time, comparing it letter for letter. I've also used a password manager to enter it. This is affecting every device and every avenue of access to my account.

After resetting my password for the sixth time, I'm confident it is not me or my devices.

    Hello @Patrick Hasenjager,

Thank you for providing more information.

Are you using a VPN/AV/MW or Apple's "Private Relay" feature?

    Please let me know!

As mentioned, I turned off my VPN. I am not using Private Relay.

After 90 minutes on the phone with support…I find out my account was locked. Apparently, resetting your password 9 times doesn't unlock the account.

To be honest, the phone call was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had.

    Hi,

    Thanks for reaching back out.

I am happy to hear that you were able to resolve the issue, however, I do truly apologize for your experience with Quicken Support. I will review the interaction and send it over to my team so that the agent can receive proper coaching.

We appreciate your patience and support!
