Expense reminders change to Income Reminders

My Expense reminders keep changing from expense to income. Most are set to estimate based on the current cc balance, and I pay all credit cards in full each month. Most are left with a balance when paid from charges past the monthly close date.

Yes, these are credit card payments. I pay all my bills in full each month, so I set up Expense reminders in my calendar. I've been doing this for many years. A few months ago, I began noticing that some expense reminders were changing to income reminders. What made me notice the change was when I entered the monthly payment, it was showing as a charge, not a payment. When I tried to figure out how that was happening, I saw that the expense reminder that I entered in the calendar had changed to an income reminder. I changed the reminders back to expense reminders, but they continued to change when I looked at them again the following month.
All of these cc reminders are set to show the amount as the total card balance.
This is not happening to all of my credit card reminders, although I haven't been able to see any differences between the expense reminders that automatically change to income reminders.
I use Windows 11 Pro and have since Windows 11 came out.

Thank you for your reply,
Based on the additional information you provided, the problem reminders are backwards, reflecting as a charge on the credit card account instead of a payment. Is this always happening with the same reminders, or is it different ones every time?
Are those problem reminders set up as transfers (taking money from the payment account and depositing it in the credit card account)? If not, then how do you have those problem reminders set up?
Have you already tried backing up your file, then deleting and recreating the problem reminders?
Thank you!

yes I have deleted the problem reminders and recreated them as expense reminders. The next month they changed back again aga
The reminders are set to take funds from a bank account to pay the cc balance.
it's happening to several cc accounts, not all. Although the reminders are set up the same way on all cc accounts.
I'll have to more carefully watch which accounts it's happening to and try to identify any differencedifferences.
Thanks

How exactly have you created these reminders? Have you been using the Add Bill / Manual Bill process or did you select Add Transfer Reminder?
There appears to be a difference how these two reminder types operate when it comes to the amount due dropping down to 0.00 for the next payment.
Yes, an Expense Reminder categorized as a transfer to the CC account should work exactly the same as a Transfer Reminder with a From [checking] / To [CC account] specification. And it usually does, except for when the amount goes to 0.00 for a month or two … when the Expense Reminder appears to change to an Income Reminder. Also, for credit card payment reminders set the "Estimate amount" to "Current Credit Card balance". That, for me, seems to work best, even if I need to skip a month with 0.00 due.
