Quicken Crash and Account Reset

Launched Quicken R62.16 just a short while ago and ran OSU. OSU was running fine until it got to the Online Services section (Download quotes and update bills). When suddenly Quicken disappeared from the screen. Launched Quicken again, and ran OSU. OSU completed this time but showed I was "disconnected" from all of my the EWC+ accounts. The DC ones were fine. Just before it completed, it displayed the "Sync with Cloud" dialog (I do not use Q's cloud services).
So now I go through the process of resetting the accounts that decoupled. Fortunately for me, that only 4 accounts in 3 Financial Institutions so even with 2FA, it goes quickly. Resetting completed without further issue. A few new transaction (since yesterday) downloaded normally.
So checking for remaining issues, I closed Quicken (made sure task was gone), relaunch and run OSU. Everything ran fine with no new transactions (as expected).
I didn't report to Support since the reset fixed it. Sometimes software "pukes" and you need to do the "3 finger salute" (or equivalent).
I know lot's of folks are having issues sync'ing with various FI's. I too have issues at a times (and reported them). This was a complete crash and burn. I rarely get those so I thought I'd pass on the event to see if this happened to anyone else today.
Quicken Staff: Feel free to move/merge this with other threads if needed.

Yup. Just happened to me too. I just reset 2 of 4 financial institutions. Will do the other 2 later. I'm so tired of this. This is the 3rd time I've had to do this over the last 2 weeks. Amex/Citi/Discovery affected. Sigh…

Same problem. After update to Quicken R62.16, I ran an OSU. Quicken apparently crashed and disappeared from the screen. After relaunch, several accounts show the disconnect icon next to them (circle with slash). Any attempt to OSU gives a warning box saying something like — accounts have been deleted (maybe due to backup restore) and you must re-add them.
I launched the update on each disconnected account and then worked through the resulting popup "re-add account" dialog (which requires re-logging into each institution via ID and password and authorizing the Quicken access). In each case, I made sure the "Link to Existing account" option was chosen and pointing to the right account.
All seems to be working again, but this was a pain in the a**.

I had the same problem this morning. Quicken exited during OSU.
When I restarted and ran the OSU again, I got a momentary "Syncing Quicken and Quicken Cloud" message even though Sync is turned off. At the end of the OSU, there were CC-800 errors from all my EWC+ accounts, 7 accounts at 4 FIs. with a circle and slash icon to the left of each bad account.
The error message with the CC-800 is very scary - "Your accounts have been deleted" or something like that.
All but one of the accounts reauthorized and relinked without incident when I clicked on the circle and slash icon. The problem account was a HELOC with no transactions. I was able to delete that account and create a new one and all seems OK now.

While I've had a few some "random" CC-501 and CC-901 errors (fixed by resetting), I've not experienced a crash like I posted earlier since then.
