I can access on my iPhone and on my iPad and even on my Mac mini but not on the app on my MacBook Air. I've tried to delete the Quicken app on the Air but can't figure out how to do that either!

I'd appreciate any help!

It sounds like you are using the Quicken Mobile companion app on your iPhone and iPad. The mobile app runs on the iOS operating system, not the macOS operating system. On a Mac, if you want to access your cloud data, you should use the web browser interface: navigate to app.quicken.com/login or go to Quicken.com > Sign In > Quicken on the Web.

Note that this cloud-based data requires that you have the actual Quicken Classic application on one of your Macs, and that you sync the desktop and cloud data to insure you have a backup in case something goes wrong. (There is no backup of cloud data, nor can you start a new desktop data file from the data that's in the cloud.)

    Hello @nicshow,

    Thanks for reaching out!

First, can you confirm whether you are signed into the same Quicken ID on your MacBook Air as you are on your other Apple devices? It's also important to check that both Quicken and macOS on your MacBook Air are fully up to date. When you launch the Quicken app on your MacBook Air, do you receive any error messages or prompts, or does it simply fail to display your data without explanation?

Additionally, are you accessing a locally stored data file or relying on Quicken Cloud sync? If you're syncing through the cloud, is the sync status showing as up to date across all devices? Has Quicken ever successfully displayed your data on this MacBook Air, or did the issue begin after a specific event, such as a software update or device change?

You also mentioned having trouble deleting the Quicken app—could you describe the steps you've taken so far and what’s preventing you from completing the process? Lastly, please check whether Quicken has been granted full disk access under System Settings > Privacy & Security, as this can impact its ability to read and display your data.

    Let me know!

I should have added that I have 2 data files - one for me and one for my mother. I AM able to access the other file but not my personal one.

I've tried dragging the app to the trash and it bounces back. I've tried holding the mouse on the app and pressing delete. I don't know how else to delete an app.
