Printer jammed - reconciliation report from Reports Center is "empty" (everything is zero)

Is this a BUG?

I printed my checking account reconciliation report and the printer jammed.

Once I cleared the printer, I needed to re-print the report.

I went to Reports and Graphs Center » Banking » Reconciliation to "re-print" the most recent reconciliation report, but when I do this, all lines show as 0.00
However, the report title I'd originally entered is still present.

I touched NOTHING / changed NOTHING between the time the printer jammed and navigating to the report center to "re-print" the report…

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Last month, I needed to "re-print" the reconciliation report (for a different error - not a printer jam) and the report was all zeroes at that time, as well.
However, I thought the zeroes were because I'd added new entries (or something) and so assumed it was a fault on my part.
Can anyone confirm that choosing the "Reconciliation" report in the report center actually prints anything besides zeroes?
Cheers,
    Hello @spamspambacon,
    Thanks for reaching out.
    The Reconciliation Report, accessible via Reports > Banking > Reconciliation, reflects the current state of your account register, not a static snapshot from the time of reconciliation. Therefore, if any changes have occurred in the register, such as added, deleted, or modified transactions, the report may display zeros or inaccurate data.
    Recommendations:
    • Save Reconciliation Reports Immediately: To preserve an accurate record, it's advisable to save or print the reconciliation report immediately after completing the reconciliation process.
    • Enable Reconciliation Report Prompt: To ensure you're prompted to print the report after each reconciliation, navigate to Edit > Preferences > Notify and check the box labeled "To run a reconcile report after reconcile".  Screenshot 2025-05-01 at 1.37.12 PM.png
    • Reset Quicken Warnings: If you previously dismissed the prompt to print reconciliation reports, you can reset all warnings by going to Edit > Preferences > Alerts & Messages and clicking Reset Quicken Warnings. Please note that this will reset all warning dialogs in Quicken. Screenshot 2025-05-01 at 1.36.46 PM.png
    I hope this helps!
    @Quicken Jasmine in the comment above your two screen shots are identical. The first one should show the Edit > Preferences > Notify dialog with the "To run a reconcile report" box checked.
    I would like to add:
    • Save Reconciliation Reports Immediately: To preserve an accurate record, it's advisable to save or print the reconciliation report immediately after completing the reconciliation process.
      "Print" the report to the Quicken PDF Printer (or any other available PDF file creation program), to create a PDF file. Name the file with a datestamp, e.g., "Reconciliation Report 20250501.PDF"
      This file will then be available to print or re-print as often as needed, representing the report exactly as it was created at time of reconciliation.
    Hi Jasmine,
    To clarify, I originally wrote:
    "I touched NOTHING / changed NOTHING between the time the printer jammed and navigating to the report center to "re-print" the report… "
    Less than 2 minutes of time elapsed between the printer jamming and my navigating to the report, again.
    I touched nothing - not inside Quicken, nor did I navigate away from/outside of Quicken.
    Because I immediately received all zeroes, I'm wondering if the report ever shows numbers?
    You are 100% correct, UKR.
    I wish this workaround wasn't needed, as it adds an extra few steps (I ultimately need the document as hardcopy), but your way will get it done.
    Thanks for the suggestion 😀
    I have found that if you reopen the account register and then go to reconciliation in reports that it will bring up the report from the last reconciliation.
