Hello @budonian,
Thanks for reaching out!
Does this issue occur immediately after downloading or after signing into your account and syncing your Quicken File? Do you receive any error codes or messages at any point during the process? Have you attempted any troubleshooting? For example, uninstalling and reinstalling the application?
Let me know!

The issue occurs after downloading a fresh copy of the companion app and signing into my account. I don't get into the app - I get stopped at the "Enter Quicken Passcode" screen. Any subsquent attempts to run it without delete/download just go straight to the "Enter Quicken Passcode" screen, without passing thru the sign-in sequence. I've deleted and re-installed the app multiple times over the last several months with the same result. Today though, in paying closer attention to the sign-in sequence, I noticed that after I press ""Sign in" and before a popup that I get a request to "Don't Allow / Allow" sending me Notifications, there's a transactions register screen that flashes up for a split-second; so fast that I haven't been able to do a screen capture. So it seems like the cloud file has been loaded, I'm just blocked from reaching it by a screen that asks me "Enter Quicken Passcode" but gives me no field or form to enter the passcord.

Hello @budonian,
Thank you for the additional details—that's very helpful.
It sounds like the app is attempting to load your synced file and immediately hitting a stuck state at the Passcode screen, where the UI fails to render the input field. Since you’ve already tried reinstalling multiple times and are seeing this persist, we suspect this could be a corrupted local app state or a residual sync issue from the cloud dataset.
Let’s try the following steps to reset your mobile environment completely:
Step 1: Disable Mobile Sync in Desktop
- Open Quicken Desktop.
- Go to Edit > Preferences > Mobile & Web.
- Click Reset your cloud data > Follow the prompts.
- Then, toggle Sync to OFF and close Quicken.
Step 2: Reset iOS App Data
- On your iPhone, delete the Quicken Classic app.
- Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage > Quicken, confirm it is fully removed (not just offloaded).
- Restart your phone.
Step 3: Re-enable Sync and Set a New Passcode
- On Desktop, re-open Quicken.
- Go back to Preferences > Mobile & Web, and toggle Sync ON.
- Let it re-upload your data and confirm sync completes without errors.
Step 4: Reinstall and Open App
- Download the Quicken Classic app again from the App Store.
- Sign in when prompted.
- You should now either be prompted to create a new mobile passcode or see your synced data directly.
Let me know if the passcode screen still appears after these steps—especially if the field remains missing.

I'm afraid I'm still experiencing the same issue, after following the instructions twice. After a third re-install, I did get a verification code via text to my phone, after signing in (this is the first time I recall getting that on the Quicken app). But still got stuck at the "Enter Quicken Passcode" prompt without a data entry field
Some additional info that may or may not help with the troubleshooting:
- On the Quicken Desktop "Quicken Mobile & Web" screen, when I try the Quicken Mobile "Scan to Sign in" and scan the QR code with my iPhone camera, I don't sign into the app, but instead the phone opens a web browser looking for a "refresh_token": followed by a 36-character string. So the QR code is not finding the Quicken Classic App on my phone, even though its installed
- On my Windows PC, when I try to log into Quicken on the Web via Google Chrome, i get an error "Uh oh. Something isn't quite right here. Our mistake! …". This is regardless of whether I log in via Quicken Desktop or directly into Chrome app.quicken.com. i don't get this problem when I log into app.quicken.com via Microsoft Edge

Hello @budonian,
Thanks for coming back and providing more information.
To clarify, you are experiencing this issue across the desktop, web application (certain engines), and the mobile app? Are you receiving any error codes or messages on any of the listed routes?

Hello @budonian,
Thank you for all the detailed testing and updates you've shared. Given the persistent issue across multiple platforms and devices (especially the unresponsive “Enter Passcode” screen on iOS), this now requires deeper investigation.
At this point, we recommend contacting Quicken Support directly so they can escalate the case if necessary.
Thank you!
