Hello @Doc1968,
Thanks for reaching out with your question! I’ve moved it to the Quicken for Windows section to ensure it gets the right visibility.
Just to clarify—are you trying to update the source account used in a bill reminder for auto payments? If so, here are the steps to change it:
- Go to the Bills & Income tab
- Locate the bill in question and click the downward arrow next to it
- Select Edit this instance and all future instances
- In the window that appears, change the From Account field to the new bank account
Let us know if you’re referring to something else!

This looks great, but I don't see what your seeing. The version i'm running isw R63.19
Under the item I need to change says "Auto-Pay by Quicken" After the down arrow, the screen does not have "Edit this instance and all future instances". Basicly, every time I download transactions, when it gets to this item, I believe it goes to Chase bank to determine minium payment and due date, then updates that info in Quicken, until due date is reached. On the due date it sends a transfer from my bank to Chase bank. My bank account has changed recently, so I need to get it to pull from a different account. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the follow-up, @Doc1968!
To better assist you, could you please upload a screenshot of what you're seeing after clicking the dropdown arrow for that bill? Specifically, the part where you're expecting to see the “Edit this instance and all future instances” option.
If needed, please refer to this Community FAQ for instructions on how to attach a screenshot. Alternatively, you can also drag and drop screenshots to your response if you are not given the option to add attachments.
Once we can see exactly what you're working with, we can guide you through updating the payment account accordingly.
Thank you!

Are you talking about your checking account?
And the old account is the one that was set up for use with Quick Pay or Check Pay? (And we're NOT talking Direct Connect Bill Pay at the bank here)Unless I'm mistaken, you will have to
- disable the old checking account in Quicken Bill Manager (Bills & Income tab, Bills, Income & Transfers view), gear icon, Payment Accounts. Click the old checking account and select Disable.
- enable the new checking account (same Payment Accounts screen, select the new account, select Enable. Wait for the mini verification deposits to arrive at your new account, enter the amounts in a verification screen)
- as far as the individual bill payments are concerned, I'm guessing you will have to delete each and set them up again (Someone correct me and add detailed steps here, if I'm wrong!)
