Add Download Connectivity for Apple Card

Is this ever going to be available in Quicken Classic for Mac?

Apple needs to contract with the aggregator (Intuit) to get added to the Financial Institutions Directory. Until that happens the Apple Card will not be able to be set up in Quicken Classic for downloading from them. Apple is where this request needs to be made. They own the decision to add support for Quicken and it will not happen until they agree to do that. If they get enough requests from customers they might decide to make the business case to expend the capital to get set up with Intuit.

Extending @Boatnmaniac's comment.
For the customers of ANY financial institution to be able to download into Q, that FI MUST sign the contract with Q/Intuit to provide such. Q/Intuit can't make them sign the contract.
Only the customers of that FI can bug the FI into signing.
AND, in the past I've closed my accounts at an FI when they dropped Q. I.E., I "voted with my feet"

Web Connect for the Apple Card is available for Quicken Windows. Is it also available for Quicken Mac?

I see that Apple Card is available for QWin but it supports only the manual Web Connect method so one cannot use Quicken to download transactions.
I do not know if Apple Card supports QMac with Web Connect. Maybe a QMac user who knows something about this will post in this thread about it.

Apple Card offers the ability down download QFX files to your computer, and then import them into Quicken. This works on Quicken Mac as well as Quicken Windows. This is the dialog Quicken Mac displays if you try to set up Apple Card for online connectivity:
As for direct connectivity…
Is this ever going to be available in Quicken Classic for Mac?
@jjordan1969 That depends entirely on Apple and their credit card provider. For a long time, there wasn't even an import file one could download, but they eventually provided the QFX downloads. Which means they are signed on with Intuit (without which the QFX files couldn't import into Quicken). But whether you will be able to connect directly from Quicken is a question only the financial institution can answer, because it's entirely up to them.
And here's the wrinkle… The Apple Card is provided by Goldman Sachs, and Goldman Sachs is widely reported to be seeking to exit the consumer credit market — including the Apple Card partnership. The contract between Apple and Goldman Sachs supposedly runs until 2030, but both parties are looking to end it sooner. Apple has reportedly been in talks with other major financial services companies, including JP Morgan Chase, Barclays, Synchrony Financial, and possibly CapitalOne/Discover. Support for external connectivity will fall on the card provider, so I wouldn't expect to see new capabilities for Quicken until Apple selects a new partner and transitions the Apple Card — which will likely take a few years.
