    I did Deactivate the account, and the Register then showed up. So I can at least manually tie this in with my checking account, which is better than nothing.

    @Richard Schreyer - what Account Type do you see in your Quicken HELOC account when you check its Details? Mine shows Home Equity Line of Credit, as I think it should - what does yours show?

    It is possible that the problem is on my bank's side: it is definitely a HELOC, no question about that. But I guess it's theoretically possible that when they link up with the Quicken account, it somehow is categorized as a loan. At least that's what the Quicken support person said would explain what I'm seeing.
