Budget category sums exceed total spending amount

Under my budget for October it shows my spending much less than it shows on each catergory. It started recently. Please investige this problem for me. I have Quickens for windows.

    Thanks for reporting this. To help investigate, could you provide a bit more context?

    • Where is your Quicken data file stored? Is it on your local hard drive (C: Drive) or a cloud-based/external drive (e.g., OneDrive, DropBox, USB, etc.)?
    • When did you first notice this discrepancy in your budget?
    • Were there any recent changes to your system or Quicken software before the issue began (updates, new installations, etc.)?
    • Could you provide screenshots of your budget summary and the individual category totals showing the discrepancy?
      • If needed, please review this Community FAQ for instructions on how to attach screenshots. Alernatively, you can also drag and drop screenshots to your response if you are not given the option to add attachments.

    This will help narrow down what might be causing the totals to not match the sum of the categories.
