When will Quicken update the Tax Planner with 2026 tax rates?
The 2024 tax rate is not very helpful at this time, except for amended returns.

If you are running R65.17 or newer and the tax year is set to 2025 at the top of the Tax Planner, it should have current (2025) tax rates. These will apply to the return that you file in April of 2026.
Generally they do not enable the following year's rates until after the beginning of the year.
Are there any current rates that you think are out of date?

Thank you for response, and yes I am current with R65.17. But I want to know whether to defer taxable income to 2026 or take it in 2025. The 2024 federal tax rate is not relevant unless I am filing an amended return.

One thing to look at re: that type of question is where you fall in your current 2025 tax bracket.
If you're only slightly into the current bracket, such that the deferral would reduce your tax bracket, it might make sense to defer.
If you're WELL into it, and the tax bracket wouldn't change for this year, then you'd need to guess what your bracket for next year is going to be and make a similar "impact" decision.
BUT, all of this is speculation, since there's no telling what Congress is going to do to taxes in the future.

Keep in mind when the new tax rates become available, you will have to use the numbered Scenarios feature in Tax Planner for 2026. The 2026 Projected scenario will not function until January. The numbered scenarios will have the updated 2026 rates. The 2025 Projected scenario can be copied to a numbered 2026 scenario and then adjusted manually to perform 2026 planning.
Adding- at least one user reported the update with 2026 rates is starting to roll out.

FYI—Regarding the 2026 Projected Tax Planner: The 2026 feature is now available in Quicken BUT it is pulling in no 2026 transactions (actual nor planned), yet. This is not something that is concerning to me since the full functionality of the new year Tax Planner is typically not realized at the very early part of January.
CORRECTION: 2026 Projected is correctly pulling in Deductions (actuals and planned) data. Other data, such as actuals and planned income is not yet being populated.

I've got all expected transactions reporting for 2026. The first time I switched back to 2025 it acted strangely so I closed Quicken and reopened it. It has been behaving since. I did have to adjust some sections to get scheduled reminders selected for projections.

I did not close Quicken but later this afternoon I opened two other data files. Then I reopened my main data file, again, and all 2026 taxable transactions (both actual and planned) are now being captured by the Tax Planner. So, yeah, it does seem that we both had some odd Tax Planner behavior during the initial file opening but it's all good for me now.
