Why doesn't investment entry advance highlight to next blank entry line?

For the last few years or so, after finishing using the transaction dialog box to enter an investment event, e.g. "inc", "buy", etc., returning to the full register view shows the just-entered transaction still highlighted, implying another "enter" click is needed:

Shouldn't that transaction be "finished" and the next available line be highlighted, ready for entry, like this:

Anyone else?

    Hello @Hal1,

Thank you for reaching out! To clarify, is the transaction not being saved? For example, if you enter the transaction information, click Enter/Done, then click away to another account or close Quicken, is that transaction you just entered still there when you navigate back to the investment account?

I look forward to your response!

    Hi Kristina,

The transaction is saved OK. And subsequent transactions in the same account are also saved in sequence. Also, closing and reopening the ledger shows the next blank entry line ready.

My question is; after finishing entering a transaction using the transactions button on top, and after it goes away leaving just the ledger view, that transaction is still highlighted, (although apparently recorded). If I just click on a date the highlight jumps to the next entry line where I would think it should be after the transaction dialogue box closes.

    See pics in original post.

Why isn't the next available entry line already highlighted, waiting for an entry, instead. I seem to remember that that was the usual case. Thanks
