I have this problem also.
Totally unacceptable.
Been a user since the early 90s.
More serious problems with Quicken in the last 5 years than in the previous 30 years.
Sick and tired of them.
Now looking for a better way to manage finances.
And please don’t reply with your standard response. "Thanks, we are working on it."

@Larry Epperson - I feel the same. I started around 1995, was a Beta tester back then, and felt like it was really stable software. It just worked. I don't believe any of the new especially online features work. The problem with the banks is not totally Quicken's fault as they don't own the banks, but they could do a better job of working with the banks to ensure compatibility.

But now entering transactions automatically when I have the setting turned off is a very big problem and can easily corrupt our data.

"Online Billers" - very broken

"Mobile & Web" - 100% will corrupt your data. Maybe new users it's ok, but not for us with 30 years of data.

"Bills and Income Reminders" - broken. automatically enters transactions or skips the month entirely.

"Specify lot's screen - cuts off the gain/loss so you can't see the gain/loss

I still love Quicken and rely on it to manage my finances but i have to agree that it's been frustrating since August 2025.
