Manually Matching Transactions

I am trying to manually match downloaded transactions to the matching transactions in the register. There are not enough characters in the PAYEE column to differentiate between similarly named payees.

Please make the window wider
Please make the window size adjustable
Please allow the user to adjust the column width
Please allow the user to hide unneeded columns

Can you show us a couple of examples, please?
In my account register view, the Payee columns, both in the register and in the Downloaded Transactions tab, are plenty wide.

Also, you control what columns show up in a Register. Click on the gearwheel icon in the upper right hand corner and scroll down to "Register columns…"

You're looking at the wrong thing. I am not talking about the register or the downloaded transactions tab.

I am referring to the "Manually Match Transactions" pop-up window that is displayed when you click on a downloaded transaction, choose to "manually match" and a pop-up window is displayed showing a listing of transactions that you can match to.

To recreate this:

Run the One Step Update.
In the Downloaded Transactions Tab, select a transaction.
Click EDIT
Click MATCH MANUALLY
The "Manually Match Transactions" pop-up window is displayed. THIS is what I am referring to.

The pop-up window size is fixed
The width of each column is fixed.

NOTE: In this case, I can match the transactions because the payment amounts are different.

HOWEVER, I have several situations in which multiple payments are made to the same payee for the same amount and I need to see details in the PAYEE column (names slightly different) and the CATEGORY column to identify the right match.

Other screens in Quicken do allow the user to resize both the screen itself and the column width.

Additionally, it has been reported in ticket CTP-16192, because with some screen resolutions, the columns are too narrow to be useful.

It doesn't matter what screen resolution you use — whether I use my laptop or my 36-inch wide screen monitor, it's always a problem.

The log files really have nothing at all to do with this issue. It's a user interface issue.

In addition to the "payee" column, the "category" column (or ALL columns) and window size itself should also be adjustable.
