Quicken 2014, getting "Unexpected error" messages

I got a direct link some time ago from someone named Sherlock on the Quicken community site when I asked about getting 'Unexpected Error' messages over and over again. He gave me a link to a Mondo patch, and once I installed that, I never had anymore problems. Until now.
I bought a refurbished PC that had Win10 already loaded on it, so we just installed the Quicken 14 Deluxe directly on the computer. It seemed to work okay until I started getting the deadly 'Unexpected Error' message. I completely forgot that years ago I needed the Mondo patch (and of course that wasn't on the Quicken 14 disc I had).
I have been using Quicken since 1995, so I have a ton of data. When Intuit decided to turn this into a subscription-based serviced, I looked for the last version of Quicken that I could use without a subscription and where I could keep my data locally on my computer. It looked like Quicken 14 was the last version that I didn't have to pay for and my data wasn't stored in the cloud. I actually purchased a physical disc for Quicken 14 Deluxe and everything was working fine for a very long time.
Once I started getting the 'unexpected error' message (which also locked up my computer), one of your users asked me if I had installed the Mondo patch. I didn't know anything about it, so he was kind enough to send me a direct link where I could download and install the patch. I only use Quicken to enter transactions for Checking, Savings, and Credit Cards. I am not connected to any bank to download anything. I enter all transactions manually, and back up the data file consistently on a USB drive and it's worked great, until loading the physical disc version on the new PC (without the Mondo patch). I haven't been able to consistently enter transactions or reconcile accounts because of these deadly error messages. Someone on eBay claimed to have a USB drive for Quicken 14 (although it was the Home and Office version rather than the Quicken Deluxe 14, but I didn't think that would be a problem), and she told me that i would have the Mondo patch on it and it would work on anything from Win 7 (which is what i had been running before upgrading to Win10) to Win11.
Now it seems to be getting worse. I get various numbered 'unexpected errors' when I try to use Bill and Income Reminders. They're all there, but when I try to enter one of them or skip one, the error message pops up and I can't exit Quicken except by going to the bottom on the window and closing both the error message and a blank page that identifies as Quicken. Once I close those two things, Quicken will finally shut down. Unfortunately, the minute I try to re-open it, another error message appears and I can't even open it. The only way we've found to get it to open is to remove Quicken from the computer and re-load the Quicken 14 USB I purchased. And even though I was constantly baking up data constantly - including from a few hours earlier, once we re-load Quicken - and use the most recent backup, I've lost over 2 months worth of entries - again. I don't know what to do at this point. Losing the ability to access data from every year since 1995 is making me sick, but if I can't continue to use Quicken to manually enter transactions and reconcile accounts, I don't know what I'm going to do. I love Quicken because it basically does what I want because I don't need all the other features. It basically acts (for me) like an electronic check register along with the ability to enter credit card transactions, electronic deposits and payments - and reconcile everything when I get bank and credit card statements.
Can anyone provide me with a link to the Mondo patch that will fix Quicken 14 Deluxe? I'm desperate and I have no idea where (or how) to find it so I can re-install it on my computer.
I'd be very grateful for anyone who can help me with this. I've been trying to figure this out for over a month. And along with re-entering data over and over again (only to have it disappear) and not being able to reconcile anything or use Bill and Income reminders, it also seems to crash when I try to enter 'splits' on transactions.
I'm pretty desperate right now, so any help would be really appreciated.

Hello @lulusandy,
Thank you for reaching out! Since Quicken 2014 is no longer supported, I'm not able to help troubleshoot, but I can share the link to your previous discussion:
Unfortunately, the site you were initially able to download the patch from isn't available anymore. Hopefully someone on the Community will know another place where you can find it.
I hope this helps!

Thanks for sharing the link to my previous discussion. There are several users who supposedly have links to 2014 patches, but every one I click on give me the old '404' message.
Since the link I got previously (and worked like a champ), I'm wondering if there's anyone out there who can give me a link to a (working) patch that I can actually access, I would be eternally grateful.

The website that had all the patch releases on it was reported to have copy right violations or such stuff and was placed on a blacklist (in other words, banned, all you get is a 404 error). It is a shame that it happened, but those are the facts. Intuit (before becoming just Quicken) used to provide those patch releases on their website, but they decided to not support their users of older versions of Quicken.
You got your information wrong about 2014. Quicken 2014 was the FIRST year that required an ID to register (Intuit ID at the time), you really needed to go with 2013, which is my opinion is still better than the current subscription since it does not have any of the online cloud features that cause so many problem.
I don't know where you are going to find your needed patch release, best of luck, but if you do, be sure to save it.
