I have added a security, can't get it in the investing column so as to fund it.

Don't know what "Body is required" refers to.

    Once you have added a security in Quicken, you must create an investing account if you have not already and Buy the security in that account

    "Body is required" would be the error you see if you try to post a question here on the forum with only a title and no details (aka the body of the post).

    What problem are you having with ETFs?

    You can classify ththem as mutual funds if you want, or set up a new asset type for them.

    Or you can classify them as Stocks.

    What is there to "handle" about ETFs? You can create a Security Type "ETF" and use Asset Class "Mixture". I find my ETFs download the Mixture percentages. Otherwise, treat it like a stock.
