My transaction dates need to differ between linked bank accounts

How can I make a transfer date differ from the received date between two accounts? i.e. Checking account and Credit Card

That is not possible. The alternative is to make a note in the memo field or to not create a linked transfer but rather create to separate transaction entries, one in each account.

  • I was afraid that was the case. However my bank now has a 'send date' and 'receive date' option for bill paying. This handy when scheduled transactions hit holidays etc.

You COULD set up an intermediate account (it Banking, it's called "Cash Items in Transit", or "CIT") and when you pay the money from your checking account, transfer it to this intermediate account.
THEN, create a transfer from this account to your card account using the date that you want.
