Loan summary - hide closed loans

in Reports (Windows)
Under "My Money"--->"Customize"--->"Property & Debt"--->"Loan Summary" a summary of loans can be added to the "Home/My Money" screen. However, the Loan Summary includes paid off loans or closed loans with zero balance.

How can the closed loans be hidden?

    I suggest you open the closed loan, press Ctrl + Shift + E, select the Display Options tab, check Keep their account separate, and select OK.  You my need to exit and open Quicken or remove and add the Loan Summary item in the Home view to see the effect of the change.

    Turning on and off the display options of the closed loan accounts has no effect on Loan Summary: the closed loan accounts still show up.

    I have Quicken Premier on Win10, and I am using the latest update (R29.16).

    It seems that the fix should be easy.

    Any response from Quicken please?

    If the issue persists when you have check Keep their account separate, I suggest you perform the Copy and Validate as described in: https://www.quicken.com/support/advanced-data-file-troubleshooting-correct-problems-quicken-windows

    The accounts were marked as "Keep this account separate" and "Hide account name..." under the "Display Options". Again, the accounts are closed.

    The "Copy and Validate" had no effect.

    If this was the intended functionality, i.e., to list even closed accounts in the Loan Summary, it makes little sense.

    If this was not the intended functionality, it looks like a bug to me.
