How do I add a category to a transaction that includes an inter-account transfer?

Options
I have an account set up in Quicken for our mortgage. When I make a mortgage payment, it's set up to automatically split between mortgage interest and a transfer to the mortgage account to reflect the principal payment. This principal amount does not show up in any spending category. Is there a way to categorize this amount while still accomplishing the transfer to the mortgage account.

A category either increases your net worth (Income cat) or decreases it (expense cat).
A transfer does neither.  It reduces the value of your checking account, but at the same time reduces the balance owed on your mortgage ... a net $0 to your net worth.
You might want to look at the Cash Flow report to see if that's closer to what you want.
