trying to download but it has been saying down for maintenance for over 24 hours.

I have contacted support twice and they could not help. I have a 2017 deluxe version and it wont let me update or buy the new version. every time i try it says the site is down for maintenance. when i try to look at my subscription it does not even show anything. I can only see my sign in, security info, and personal info. Nothing shows for subscription. Please help????

    Are you sure you have Quicken 2017?
    Select Help -> About Quicken, and post what version you really have.

    Because Quicken 2017 isn't Quicken Subscription (that started in 2018) and as such hasn't been able to download transactions since 2020.

    ALL versions of Quicken 2017 lost the ability to download in April 2020.  IF you've been able to download after that date, it was due to an error ...  that Q missed shutting  off a server.
    To regain the ability to download, you MUST upgrade to the current Quicken.
    BTW, when you say "when I look at my subscription", what are you actually looking at?  Because  QW2017 is NOT a "subscription" product.

    From your description, it sounds as if you want to upgrade to the newest subscription version and you are attempting to do this from within Quicken. If that is correct, you want to go to quicken.com and login to your account. From there you can purchase the subscription. Be aware that you will save money if you purchase from Amazon or other online retailers. Quicken Inc. charges full retail.

    @TexasGeorge As Chris wrote above, Quicken 2017 was discontinued after its 3+ year life, in April 2020. You can still use it manually, but you can't download transactions.

    To download transactions, you'd need to upgrade to the current Quicken, which is now sold on an annual subscription basis.

    @NotACPA i mean when I log into my quicken account online it shows no subscription. And when I try to download the latest version 2021, after i plug in my cc info the next screen says "site is down for maintenance".

    @TexasGeorge I suggest you buy from Office Depot (or another retailer).  At least their purchase system works right.
    Since you are coming from Quicken 2017 you are a "new subscriber" and can use this link and Deluxe for a year is on sale for $32.

    I noticed that "non new subscriber" is also $32, but is the CD instead of downloading, so the is a wait for 1 to 3 business days to get it.

    In either case all you need is the activation code they will send you or is on the box.
