Set Back TWO MONTHS

I updated my Quicken program this morning and the thing has set back my records two months! What in the heck is going on? Don't tell me to restore a back up. I am not a fool. I want to know what I can no longer trust your product not to cost me hours of work to redo things that are two months old!

First thing to do is shut down Quicken and then restart it.  You might find that squares things away.

First off, the data is in a data file and not the program and your can have multiple data files.
Doing a restore does not mean abandoning your current data file.  During the restore, you will be given a chance to overwrite or create a copy of the file with a different name, choose creating a copy.
You can switch back and forth between the data files using the recent file list on the File menu.
