That's weird - that they would support download for Quickbooks and not personal software Quicken.
What exact bank name is this - so we can look up to see how they are supported within Quicken ?
The QBO format is a QuickBooks Web Connect format used to import transactions into QuickBooks. ". QBO" does not mean "QuickBooks Online". QuickBooks Desktop (PC or Mac) imports QBO files through File-Utilities-Import-Web Connect format.

    Hello @lcharwell,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community with your question.

Could you please provide which version release of Quicken you have currently running?
    • Help > About Quicken

Also, could you please provide the name of the financial institution you are attempting to download from?

Please, be aware that if you're trying to download transactions from your financial institution's website, the file extension you will need is ".qfx", not ".qdf" as ".qdf" is the file extension for your Quicken data file. Have you checked to see if your financial institution offers .qfx files for download?

Please, check back and let us know! Thank you.

New Quicken Home Business Rental. Bank of DeSoto, in DeSoto, Texas. I can download with one step update, but i am wanting to download older statements so i can import them into Quicken. I just created the Quicken file and want my old bank transaction in there, but one step update will only go back and get a few. If i could download old statements, i might could import them into my file. Bank only will download them in .csv, .ofx (Mic money) and .qbo (Quickbooks 2005 and newer)

It looks like you are asking a couple of different questions all at the same time.
This appears to be your bank - and it only offers Quicken Express Web Connect for downloading TRANSACTIONS.
    31134    31134    31134    Bank of DeSoto, N.A.    http://www.bankdesoto.com    N/A    https://web11.secureinternetbank.com/pbi_pbi1961/Pbi1961.ashx?RT=111916698&LogonBy=connect3&PRMACCESS=Account    ACTIVE
    BANKING,ACCOUNTINFO&EXP-WEB-CONNECT
For TRANACTIONS, it is totally up to the bank how far back they go - usually about 90 days.
For downloading "statements" - not really sure what you would get or in what format....
Do you mean old "transactions" ?
I guess you could download them in CSV format - which is merely a text file - you can then open in Notepad or Excel, and go from there.
[EDIT] - also updated topic title to better reflect the actual Q&A

You can use my program ImportQIF to convert/import such formats as .OFX/.CSV into Quicken.
