    Hi @aparcamientosespanol

There are currently four different versions of Quicken for Windows: Starter, Deluxe, Premier and Home, Business & Rental Property.  Here's a LINK1 to details about these four versions, including the annual subscription prices.  You should consider the various versions and decide what will work best for you.

However, you also should be aware that you will need to convert your Q-2000 datafile into the Q-2004 version before the new subscription model can be used - please see this LINK2 for more information on that process.

If you have any other questions - either now or later when you do the conversion - feel free to come back here for help.  Good luck going forward.

FWIW, you can stay at Quicken 2013 unless you really want to use online services. If you don't renew your subscription, one quarter of the screen will be taken up by renew notices.

You should at least try to convert to the 2013 version since you don’t use any online services or download transactions now.  Then it should run on newer versions of Windows.  Starting in 2014 they instituted an ID password to get into your own data. I’m staying on 2013.

2013 should run on Newer Windows.  You can download 2013 Deluxe for free using this how to convert article.  It’s under Converting from Quicken 2004-2009.

If your version is 2003 or earlier you will need to first convert to 2004.  Then convert to 2013.  Read that whole article on converting.

And FYI - If your Quicken was before 2010 you should have several files making up the data.  The main data file ends in .QDF.  All Quicken versions prior to QW2010 store your data in a series of files all sharing the same filename but with different extensions like  - .QDF .IDX, .QEL, .QPH  and all 4 of those files were rolled into a single-file .QDF starting in 2010.

I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.

Hello, As you indicate, I have installed the 2004 version without any problem.

When importing data from version 2000 to version 2004, it shows me this error: "European files are not supported in the US version od Quicken. Please keep using your old foreign version for tax support. You can use QIF to transfer watchlist"

Can you tell me how to continue with the data migration?

    Thanks

  • Hello, we have done several tests and we can not get a newer application to work with the copy we have. How can we contact the application support so that they can guide us in the migration or do it for us directly?

We haven't been able to use the app for a week and we need to be able to work with it.

    Thanks
