Intend to know how comprehensive is the analytics on investment portfolios. Can someone from Quicken or otherwise share a sample report?

Quicken Windows or Quicken Mac? The reports features are different.
Is there something specific you're looking for? There are lots of ways to organize investment reporting, and no single sample report will touch on everything.Quicken Mac Subscription • Quicken user since 19930 -
I usually go to my broker's website and use their tools. MUCH more reliable. AND, works exactly the same from PC, Mac, or mobile device.

There are certainly people on here that know more about the investment features in Quicken and in investing in general, but I’m with @NotACPA when talking about investing analytics. To me Quicken seems more geared for answering questions like “what should I put on my taxes” than “how should I invest” or “how well are my investments doing”.
Just jumping into the subject of “return” shows that Quicken and most brokers disagree on what that even means.Signature:

I have really enjoyed the investment TRACKING features of Q since I began using it in 1986, and have my complete history of investing, retirement savings, asset and debt in my current file. I don't think anyone should use it for 'how should I invest'. I don't think it's geared for that.
As far as 'how well are my investments doing, it works great for me. I have a history of over 25 investment accounts and it is a wonderful historical perspective. Using my Quicken account records, I can easily converse with my investment advisors, ask questions, and get their thoughts.
There are several things that I regret having done, mainly in the treatment of my history. I finally have my complete savings and investment history in my current file, but archived most of my debt and asset data. This has been due to software performance history that I attribute to the data storage choices made by Q developers.
I have never, after a few futile attempts, download transactions from ANYWHERE. As I read about the issues on this community, it seems that the transaction download feature is by far the greatest source of problems.
Quicken over the years has been a great source for reporting my tax data to my accountant, and we used Quickbooks for my wife's business as long as she owned it.
Quicken is great for reviewing investment history and return, but definitely not a source for investment advice.
I am still using Quicken Windows 2014 and do not intend to update further, due to the subscription requirements and not needing most of the 'improvements'. There are some irritating things that with my technical background I can tolerate. and I'm to the point that their support will not discuss things because I won't subscribe, and I guess that's OK. But why should I subscribe for things I don't need? The community has been a pretty good source of ideas to help with any issues I find, except for the problem if the login popup insisting on opening on my second monitor, which causes a problem if that monitor is not available. Solved that by removing all passwords from all my files!.
